Location : Chengdu, China
Area : 12000m2
This project started life as a feasibility study to determine whether the Chengdu International School could realistically relocate, in a very short period, to the only alternate site they had available. The project, part adaptive re-use of 1980s brick building and part new build, was undertaken over a very short timeframe. An extremely tight six months for design and construction for 12000m2 resulted in a successful relocation and the survival and vitality of the school.
